On April 25, 2024, the operator of Ādaži airfield, SIA “Adaži Airpark” received an airfield certificate stating that ĀDAŽI airfield is competent to provide airfield services, observing the operating conditions provided for in the certificate, which include flights according to visual flight rules day/night (VFR day/night).
It is planned that the changes in the flight regulations will come into force on July 11, 2024, after updating the information in the AIP of Latvia.
